OH MY GOD THEY’RE IN THE VENTS

Okay so at work we have a sort of speaker arrangement for studio calls- so you sometimes hear stuff like “can Josh from IT go to room G” or “staff meeting at ten has been moved to eleven”; you know, the usual.

Not today.

No, today we hear the usual ksshck-eeee before someone uses the mic and then…

nothing.

Just a bit of static.

So we’re all sort of shrugging, like “oh someone must have turned it on by accident” and then we just hear a bit of scuffling before-

“Did it get Max?”

“I… don’t know.”

“Well did you kill it?”

“Do you want to check? Wait- wait.”

Pause.

“Oh god, oh god they’re in the vents.”

-and then it turns off.

…
