Happy 91st Anniversary to this Lucky Rabbit!

sorry for lull in posts/chirpiness in general there’s a lot going on behind the scenes here (but there is movement on the RGB enamel pin business so that’s cool- still no idea when it’ll be done but we’re doing our best!). Anyway, doodle comic is WIP...

sorry for lull in posts/chirpiness in general there’s a lot going on behind the scenes here (but there is movement on the RGB enamel pin business so that’s cool- still no idea when it’ll be done but we’re doing our best!). Anyway, doodle comic is WIP but I’ve got the gist of it very loosely sketched and I’m gonna have a crack at doing it in this blob/scribble technique I’ve been noodling about with lately. Wish me luck!

Anonymous asked: You write 'except about Ducktales- sorry! Don’t hate it, just isn’t my jam', but I see you answering about them. Did I not understand something? Sorry for stupid question.

To clarify; I answer questions about ducks and duck comics, but not the show Ducktales. I used to, but not any more? It’s complicated. I don’t really want to spread negativity by explaining the personal reasons I have but I just can’t enjoy the show even though I tried really hard to. It doesn’t mean I’m not okay with other people liking it! And that’s partly why I don’t want to talk about it. I’d hate to make anyone feel bad about enjoying a cartoon! like wow. Not gonna do that. You do you folks I want you to live your lives how u wanna live em!

Anyway basically having to deal with questions about it or being asked to comment on it just gives me horrible anxiety and I really appreciate folks that have picked up on the hints. That said I still get people asking about the show- please understand that that still gives me anxiety even if I don’t respond to them any more, so I know it’s frustrating but I’d really be grateful if folks would respect this one request.

i fukcing hate this show

This is the best scene in the entirety of IZ imo it’s literally perfect

according to the staff commentary for this episode, the script actually called for heavy traffic to be rushing past Dib and Zim in this scene, which is why they’re shouting at each other, and you can even still sort of hear the sound effects

but then, for whatever reason, in the finished episode they just

forgot the cars

Anonymous asked: thank you so much for all the duck art, also can I just say THANK you for making all your duck ladies the round soft actual duck-shaped-ducks that they are? I've always been curvy and cuddly and I always loved that Daisy, Magica, Goldie etc. were so comfortable and fabulous and confident with that beautiful soft pear shape they- and I- have. I really like how you keep them true to that and allow them to be beautiful and (in a way) sexy! Not despite it, but because of it? You embrace it so well.

aah shucks man, thanks, and same? a lot of my favourite gals from the Disney ‘verse- like Magica, Clucky from Robin Hood, Ursula from the Little Mermaid etc.- are shapely, powerful, funny and confident and they look fantastic but it’s partly because they absolutely know that they look fantastic. I love lots of the slender built characters too, but there’s something so wonderful and empowering about the comic duck characters because they are… ducks! They never disguise that. They make use of the fact that they’re small, comical and cuddly, and yet that never in any way dents the heartfelt moments and the serene dignity that they can portray. Sometimes they’re put at a disadvantage because they are so short! But they can always overcome it, and nobody ever ‘looks down’ on them in terms of intelligence or strength. They always somehow match sincerity and elegance with their fun loving comedy, and they are every inch as- if not more- beautiful to me as the conventional princesses!

Anonymous asked: Hey mod, would you be alright with it if I were to get a tpoh tattoo? I totally understand if the answer's no, but I have mighty need to have the phrase "what do heroes do to monsters" somewhere on my body

absolutely go for it! it’s your body, your decision- frankly I’m very honoured that something I wrote means enough for you to consider it!
