Anonymous asked: Would it be okay if I made a crossover fancomic doodle comic of RGB, Hero, and the dhmis cast? I just wanted to know in case you wouldn't be okay with it!
oops sorry I didn’t see this, and sure! go ahead!
vxdeed asked: Oh shoots! That gladstone mansion design? It's from a Brazilian Guide To Patópolis. "The Gladstone house was projected on a essentially post-rational style. The white walls with marking angles of the anterior facade open up to the back; with ample curves and colossal windows that illuminate the spacious dormitory. The lucky goose obtained the house without having to work a single day" //

POST-RATIONALISM IS SUCH A HILARIOUS IDEA is that an art movement it is now oh my goodness this thing just gets better
Anonymous asked: I don't think Gladstone feels out of place in the McDuck family because I'm sure they make sure he knows he's wanted. Like yeah, Gladstone gets defensive about his place in the family but not NEARLY as defensive as della and Donald get about his place, yknow?
anon gets it <3
beautifulmonster asked: Okay, I’m all caught up on your Duck doodles! Thank you so much for working so hard on these and sharing them. You really are an amazing storyteller and I’ll get right on reading your other stuff. I also really want to thank you for taking me back. It’s been a while that I’ve come across a comic that had me cursing sleep because I wasn’t finished but it’s been longer since I had that warm fuzzy nostalgic feeling inside. I felt like a kid again. I think I’ll have to hunt down my old comics. ❤️
AAAAH GOOD MESSAAGE THANK YOU that’s awesome and I’m so happy people keep writing to me with similar stories like this- this is such a rewarding reaction and very encouraging for me!
Anonymous asked: Do you ever wonder if Gladstone feels out of place in his family for being part goose? For being a Gander instead of a Duck?
I have headcanons for days about the Gander side of his family, which also feed into why he ended up being sent to his McDuck relative in Scotland rather than ending up with any of them after his parents passed. I won’t get into that too much (in case of future doodle comics) so let’s just say rather than making him feel excluded from the Duck family I imagine it makes him even more strongly defensive of his connection to them. Yes, he feels a bit out of place sometimes, (just as he does with any group- with his luck he’s always a fish out of water) but that insecurity means he needs and wants to be a part of the Duck clan even more badly!
I don’t think he’d feel bad or out of place about being part goose, especially with Gus being the same, I mostly mean the Gander connection is one he’s a little conflicted on. Despite that his surname is one of his remaining connections to his father, so I can’t imagine he’d change it. Basically being the stubborn and petty dude he is Gladstone never denies being a Gander, but identifies with and loves his Duck relatives much more than that part of his heritage, which is why he remains so loyal to them even if they have a lot of differences.
you can’t tell me Tokoyami wouldn’t do this
also on a side note I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be cannibalism…pretty sure
